Relief and stabilization of the shoulder
Bauerfeind OmoTrain is a medical support brace that relieves and stabilizes the shoulder joint. According to the instructions for use, it is used for chronic irritation and irritation following injury or surgery, for osteoarthritis, and for preventive purposes.
Strap system and Delta pad
The support’s special strap system safely guides the shoulder joint during movement, which Bauerfeind says prevents incorrect movements and the pain they cause. The strap and knitted fabric center the joint, while the support system leaves the chest free so that breathing is not restricted.
The viscoelastic Delta pad has friction nubs that support stabilization of the shoulder joint and, according to Bauerfeind, accelerate the reduction of edema and effusions. The knitted fabric provides alternating compression massage, which the manufacturer says relieves pain and promotes circulation.
Materials and comfort
The three-dimensional Train knit provides a good fit, and its high elasticity makes the support easy to put on and take off. The edges have lower compression, which prevents the support from cutting in.
Material composition according to the manufacturer: polyamide (PA), thermoplastic elastomer (TPE-SEBS), elastane (EL), elastodiene (ED), viscose (CV), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyurethane (PUR), cotton (CO), and polyester (PES).
How to choose the size
OmoTrain is available in Titan and in seven sizes. Measure the circumference and choose the size according to the size guide:
- Size 0: 20–22 cm
- Size 1: 22–24 cm
- Size 2: 24–26 cm
- Size 3: 26–29 cm
- Size 4: 29–32 cm
- Size 5: 32–36 cm
- Size 6: 36–40 cm

Use
Put your arm through the support’s knitted section until the shoulder is properly enclosed. The Delta pad should lie over the bony prominences on the front and back of the shoulder - otherwise, adjust the position of the support or pad.
Lay the straps flat, without twisting them, diagonally across the abdomen. Put your hand through the loop, pull the loop behind your head, and guide your arm through it. The rear strap goes over the back and the front strap around the abdomen to the affected side; pull the strap through the loop and fasten it with the hook-and-loop closure. Tighten the abdominal strap until the stability feels right. The steps are illustrated in the instructions for use.
Care
Wash at 30 °C and follow the washing instructions on the sewn-in label - regular care preserves the product's effectiveness. Replace the cover on the pad after washing.
